This month's updates revolve around emails. In my mind, emails are one of the most important aspects of Unified Praise, in that they allow people to engage with what's going on on the platform and with artists that they follow, without having to actively go to the website. So this is one update of many to come in this area.
Better email settings
In case you didn't know, you can choose which emails you receive from Unified Praise in your account settings. It currently looks like this:
Up until now, all emails had a link to the email settings for you to go and change what you're subscribed to. But, it wasn't very clear which setting corresponded to which email. Now, non-essential emails have a message at the bottom saying which email setting has caused you to receive it, and a link to go and turn it off if you choose:
Followed artist emails
When you follow artists, you may get emails from those individual artists. Previously, there was only one setting that would turn emails on or off for all artists. Now, you can turn emails and notifications on or off for each artist individually, on the "Artists you follow" page:
Artist blog emails
If you're an artist, and you like to blog, good news! Now, posting something on your blog will send out an email to all of your followers notifying them of the post, and including the title, image and excerpt and a link to read the full post.
