Using the Search Feature

2 min read

Unified Praise provides a powerful search feature that helps you quickly find the content you need—whether it’s a song, artist, album, playlist, theme or more. There are two ways to access search: the full Search page or the quick-search bar in the top navigation.

What you can search for

You can search across the following categories:

  • Songs – Find songs by title, description, artist, lyrics, Bible passage, themes, styles, genres or language.
  • Albums – Find albums by title, description, artists or tags for any of the songs in the album.
  • Playlists – Find playlists by name, description or creator.
  • Artists – Find artists by name, location or biography.
  • Themes and Tags – Find themes, styles, languages and genres.

Using the search page

  1. Click Search in the top navigation.
  2. You’ll land on the full Search page, where you can enter a search term and explore results grouped by type.
  3. Use the filters on the left to narrow your search to just Songs, Albums, Playlists, Artists, or Themes & tags.

Each section shows a sample of matching results, along with a "View all" button if there’s more to explore. You can also use the sidebar to filter the results to just the category you're looking for.

Using quick search

  1. Tap the "Search songs & more" bar from any page.
  2. As you type, suggestions appear instantly, grouped by content type.
  3. Click on any result to go directly to that item’s page.
  4. Click a category title to jump to all results for that category.

This is a fast way to search without leaving your current context.
