Hey there! 👋 Ready to share your music? This guide will walk you through joining Unified Praise as an artist and setting up your artist profile. Don't worry - we'll keep it simple and straightforward!
First Things First: Getting Your Invitation
Right now, Unified Praise is invite-only (we're still growing!). There are three ways you can join the community:
- By personal invite from one of our existing artists
- Using a special sign-up link as part of a group invitation
- Requesting to join by sending us a message, including some links to your work
Creating Your Profile
Got your invitation? Great - let's get your profile set up. Follow the invitation to either sign in (if you have a Unified Praise account already) or create a free account. After you've created your account, you'll be redirected to start setting up your artist profile.
Profile creation is broken down into three steps:
- 1. Your details - tell us who you are
- 2. Profile theme - Pick your profile colours and style
- 3. Social links - Link out to your Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube and more.
Any details you add here can be changed later on.
1. Your Details
These are the most important parts of your profile to get right!
- Your artist Name will appear on your public profile.
- Your Profile URL will be automatically created from your name, but it must be unique. If someone else has already taken the URL you'll need to change it.
- Your Profile picture will be displayed front and centre on your public profile.
- Location is optional, but it will help people and churches who live near you to discover your music! Don't use your address - just use a general location like town or city.
2. Profile Theme
Your theme will control how your profile looks. You can customise colours for your header, title text, buttons and navigation links, upload a header image and do some other fun things like adding background blur and changing title opacity.
Here's a tip: use the Live Preview tab to see how your profile will look to other people before you move on!
3. Social Links
Any links you add here will show in your profile sidebar. You can also choose whether you show a contact button on your profile, which will allow people to send you a message via email. Finally, you can add a donation link if you have one.
After You Finish
Once you've got your profile set up, you can:
- Start adding songs, albums or playlists
- Customise your profile further by changing your profile pages
- Start a blog
- Create a newsletter
- Start sharing your profile and gaining followers
