My aim with this song was to attempt to describe the might, power and majesty of God without making it about our experience or perception of Him. So often our songs define His value through what we see of Him, or how we have experienced Him. He's worthy of praise simply because He's worthy of praise.

This song was written in response to the increasing spread of violence and hatred that seems prominent in society. Picking up on theme of oppression, racism, persecution and hatred that seems to be a feature in every news programme, newspaper cover and dominates most of social media. In a world where people are pushed down and made to feel less than - this is a lament to God to move and act.

This was another song that came out of the Resound Worship 12 Song Challenge, and is the title track of the most recent EP. This song came out of a particularly difficult time where things were really tough at work. Through that time, one of the things that kept me going was an overwhelming sense of God’s love surrounding me – whatever was going on, whatever had gone on and whatever would go on I could be confident that I was completely surrounded by unconditional, unmistakable love. Some great input from friends on the forum and at the retreat saw me get this song over the line. Hope you enjoy.
