Beloved, rise and shine.
The sun is yawning, stretching the horizon.
Let it in, warm the skin.
Shake off dust and covers, heavy burdens.
Before you go about your day,
take a moment now to pray.
To the throne of heavenly grace, come with me.

Wash your face, your hands, your feet.
Soak in goodness, lather in his mercy.
Hear his words; sit and steep.
