When I Was Lost
Verse 1
When I was lost, he came
To take my sin and shame
Upon the cross for my salvation
I once was blind, now see
All that he's done for me
In him I am a new creation
Pre-Chorus
And in the light of his love
I cannot stay silent
Chorus
I'm redeemed by Jesus Christ
By his death I have been given life
I'm delivered from the debt of sin he paid
The old has gone the new has come
I'm forgiven by the risen Son
Jesus is the only name by which I'm saved
Verse 2
In every circumstance
He holds me in his hands
He is my rock and my protector
And in my final breath
There'll be no fear of death
I know I'll be with him forever
Bridge
He so loved the world he made
That he died to set it free
And bring hope that we will be with him
For eternity
