And now another day is gone.
I'll sing my Maker's praise,
Remembering what He has done:
His providence and gra-ce.

Till sun shall rise and set no more

I lay my body down to sleep;
May angels guard my head,
And through the hours of darkness keep
Their watch around my bed.

With joyful heart I close my eyes,
Since you have heard my prayer
And in the morning let me rise
