My Father's Song

In August of the 2025/26 we were given the challenge of writing songs of adoration. I'd started writing this song many years ago, but never finished it. It's a song about adoration: we adore him, but he also adores us. This isn't a trite or sentimental thing, it's biblical; He is our perfect Father who loves us as his adopted sons and daughters. I had the image of him singing a melody over me, like a parent would to a young child, and that's what became the foundation of this song.
