The song is a basic 12-bar blues in C with a twist. But every verse you add another four bars, and another couplet to the lyrics, from a simple refrain all the way to a full-on recollection of the story of the Magi.
This song was written as part of a challenge to put unedited scripture to music. I chose John 1: 1-5 and a blues-rock feel.
A song to encourage us to share our faith stories - something we can all do so this is a song for everyone!
This is a lament style full of angst song about patience out of the fruits of the Spirit 12 Song Challenge with Resound Worship. It's hopefully a song that stirs the heart and encourages us to wait for the Lord in all things.
