The scene in Isaiah 6, a spokesman for the LORD, silenced in the face of his holiness. Let's recreate this in our own times with the LORD. They're not supposed to be dreary or dull. We get to come into the presence of the holy of holies, the one no-one can compare or ever come close to. Ponder that!
This simple song serves an opportunity to realign ourselves with God's gracious rescue. Our daily experience of destructive decisions is a story we all find ourselves in. But it is only a passing page in The Story of our Father's extravagant grace. Losing our place in his story of grace will always lead us deeper into death at the hands of the religion we crave to make ourselves okay - and religion never changed anyone's heart for the better!
The Story that Jesus has invited us into is one of grace, not religion; it transforms the shameful burden of a servant into the joyful song of a child. It's time for us to remember our new existence is one of nothing but grace.
A song to sing together as a church community to remind each other to come freely to receive grace from God, whose thoughts and ways are above ours.

"God is good, His love endures forever" in Hebrew is the shortest song in the bible.
In 2 Chronicles when Solomon dedicated the temple to God, many musicians in the band played a fanfare on trumpets & other instruments, and as the crowd sang these words the temple was filled like a cloud with the glory of God.
Later in the book the song is used again after Jehoshaphat was told "You will not have to fight this battle ... Do not be afraid ... The Lord will be with you."
