This song draws on different biblical images of ideal times and places: the Peaceable Kingdom (Isaiah 11), the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2) and the new Jerusalem (Revelation 4 & 21). It is written in a Contemporary Christian style perhaps similar to the Rend Collective or Robin Mark. Note that this recording modulates up a semitone for the last verse. This song is included in Then Let Us Sing, a music resource published by the United Church of Canada in 2025. Most pictures in the video are courtesy of www.pexels.com.

Taking Hannah's words from 1 Samuel 2: 1-10, I have created this reflection and prayer for a more just and equitable world. This song might also have been titled "Song of Hannah: a Hymn of Praise and Protest". The hymn is free to use but please report congregational use to One License or CCLI.

A sporting analogy song which echoes the words of 1 Tim 4:8, what training for Godliness is of more value that physical training, even though the latter has some value. Like the apostle Paul, we seek to run the race before us with endurance.
Written as part of the 2024 Resound Worship 12 Song Challenge under the theme “Olympic songs”
This came from systematically reading the Psalms and the often used Psalm 40 in particular. OK it doesn't mention Jesus but he is intrinsically there in it. It's about wanting to be consumed by the person of Jesus with all that can mean and make us become.
Written for a Resound Worship songwriting challenge, the intention is for the song to be a really simple worship song of adoration that is easily translatable and relatable for different people groups to access.
